Well the story goes like this- I gave my baby up yesterday to it's new parents. I immediately went into severe depression last night. So bad, I put a deposit on a new 2015 SL CC 4x4. She wasn't planned, as I was looking at other girls like the Tundra or waiting for the Gen2 gasser. Long story short I just couldn't pass the opportunity on a fully loaded SL with almost $11k off sticker. And as a added bonus...she has a dealer installed Nismo exhaust. When I finally bring her home, UPRev and a Bank's CAI awaits install, along with a few other trinkets. Presents all given by her recently lost wicked step sister. Hopefully, this keeps me on the forum a few more years.

If you don't mind me asking, what was the OTD price?

I wasn't even considering another Gen1. But when I crunched the numbers, the Tundra I was considering was going to be an additional 15k over the titan. Who knows where the pricing of Gen2 is going to be? Or if I'm even going to like it for that matter? It was a no brainier for me. Besides, UPRev just won't work on a Yotal!! Lol

Did you notice how much quieter the 15's are then the previous years? Highway/wind/engine noise is way down compared to my 11.

Congrats on the new T

Could have made the 2011 quieter too, just make your significant other ride in the bed! :)

I like the look of the Tundra, but everybody I know that has one has nothing but problems with them.

I think I'll stick with my Pro 4X....
ha! seriously? Tundras are notoriously reliable....

That's awesome congrats. I've thought about doing that too, getting a screaming deal on a 15.

Tundra $15k more really? Lot more than I thought.

Is it quieter? Maybe fresh rubber door and window seals?

There's more or thicker sound deadening in the engine bay also

The Tundra I priced was a loaded 4x4 Platinum Edition. It is quieter, but then again, I jumped up five years newer. When I went from my 2005 to a 2010, that also was a big improvement.

Up by the fire wall? Interesting. Maybe Nissan wanted to go out with a bang with the 1g Titan.

I'll have to check out some of the 15's by me.

My weather stripping on my 06 is pretty flat and worn. It's weird after a drive thru car wash my truck gets slightly quieter for a few miles. Seriously. Water or humidity rejuvenates the rubber or something.
