Just got the 3" supertrapp exhaust installed yesterday. I went to Mike's muffler in South El Monte. Great shop. I have been going there for years and they do quality work.

I ended up with a dual 2.5" into a 3" collector, then out the back to the muffler. They were able to stuff most of the exhaust as high as possible for ground clearance. I will post up pics later tonight.

We decided on mandrel bends for the mid pipes, then crush bends from the collector back (cheaper) just in case I didnt like the muffler. I will be going back later to get the 3" replaced with mandrel bent pipe.

First start up. The truck sounds MEAN! I drove it home without any of the discs in place. Set off car alarms the whole way home! Hell, when I pulled up in my driveway, I set off my own car alarm on the sentra! At idle! I installed all 12 discs later, and the exhaust quieted down considerably. Sounded like the factory exhaust, just with more growl to it. I need to order another disc pack to open it up a little more. I just love the adjustability of this muffler!

Oh yeah. THERE IS NO DRONE!!!

I'd like to hear that. I didn't think they even made supertrapps anymore.

lets hear some sound clips........
I will try to remember to post some up once all this wind dies down. I tried 12 discs, but it was too quet for my tastes. So, as reccomended by Kartek, I got some 1/4" washers ans slipped them in between the discs (6 discs total for now), and WOW. New beast. It raised a few eyebrows from the local Sherriffs though.

The first sound clip will obviously be 6 discs with washers, then no discs. Any other requests?:computern

WOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One more in the truck...

I will be getting another disc pack soon to eliminate the stupid washers. That should get rid of the whistle that you can hear in the first sound clip.
