i have a 07 2wd just wanted to see if anyone here has ever used a 3" tapered block with a 2.5 deaver pack in the rear? right now i have a 2" block and when i had the truck on the lift installing everything i had to make a little bracket for the brake line where it attaches to the rearend because it looks like the brake lines are at their end as far as length goes. maybe greg or someone will chime in on this. thanks guys!:teeth:

I am using a 3.5 tapered block with the 2.5 Deaver pack. I also added a 5 degree shim to my spring pack, so now I have a perfect angle for my driveline. I got the 9 inch set up in the front (Radflo's and spacer) from PRG. To keep the truck more level, I had to add the Total Chaos shackles in the rear to keep the rear from sitting too high.

The brake line brackets that came with my Fabtech kit seem to leave plenty of slack in my set up with max wheel travel.

Good luck,

I didnt get any brackets for the brake lines in the rear, and where did you get the shim from for the rear? also i am running the spindle lift with dr. coilovers in the front and soon i will be buying the front upper control arms and the custom spacer from greg. but i was just wondering about the rear cause my truck right now sits about an inch higher in the back.

What kit do you have? I just know that the Fabetch kit comes with brackets for the rear. I got the steel leaf shims from a local off road shop. The shim will add a little more to lift to the rear. I don't know of any one else using the shim. Since it added more tiit, the left shock mount needed to be re-located upward, so the shock would not be fully extended on down travel. (I may have went overboard.) It probably isn't neccessary for your application.

Once you get the custom spacer and the upper contol arms, your truck may sit more level. If it still sits high in the rear, then you could try the shackles.

What size tires do you plan to run?
