Sorry some how I deleted my previous post (new guy). I have an 11 Titan Pro and my 4 wd selector knob will not turn from 2wd into any other option. I learned this the hard way yesterday while hunting and parked in a wet bean field. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

When you try to turn it, are you pushing in? Because from 2 to 4hi, it should just turn, no pushing. What happens when you try to turn it? Any movement or its just locked up?

Locked up will not turn at all.

Well it sounds like your knob is jacked. I'm guessing you're going to be digging in the dash soon.

Pretty sure nothing in the system would keep it from turning, sounds like it is just a bad/stuck switch

I reluctantly slammed the knob with my palm and it works!

I wouldn't be surprised to find someone previously spilled a soft drink all over the knob. Had a similar experience with a push switch in a used car I bought many years ago. Got into the dash and found what I believe to be coke, but maybe coffee, all syrupy and making the switch stick. A firm whack would move it and keep it free until it sat long enough in the heat, and then it would re-stick.
