I've had the 4LO/ATP light issue since I got the truck in July. 4x4 icon would not show when in hi or lo. I replaced the ATP switch and now the icon shows but it does not stay on. Should the icon show the entire time it's in 4x4? I can feel it's in 4x4 but icon turns off after a few seconds. 4LO does not seem to engage and replacing the ATP switch did not get rid of light. I've read here that I may need the shift fork(s) replaced? Any info is appreciated.

Well, I can confirm the little pic shows the front wheels as well as rear all the time it is in 4wd (hi or lo). I would have thought if the the the indicator lights turn off the front wheels are not engaging (or at least the computer thinks they aren't).

I took to dealer last week. They fixed the 4lo and atp light, the icon is on there full time now. They did tell me there was an issue with my front diff and they either would replace with new at 2500.00 or used for half that, getting second opinion today.

04. Shop said the front diff had been run with very low fluids at some point, previous owners, and internals went KABOOM! Replacing with used diff with 1 year part/labor warranty.
