If I get a SE CC 4x4 does that automatically get the "offroad package"? And if the answer is no, whats different about the two? My dealer is not being clear on this.
Also:
When totaling up options he also had the RF system with bench seat AND the Popular package with bench seat on his list of what was in the truck. Aren't they the same thing except for the radio/speaker set up? You have one or the other, not both right? When I corrected him he seemed unsure. You guys are the experts. What up with that? I know you have to have the RF OR Popular to get a 4x4. But both?

Please excuse my lack of Titan knowledge. I understand from you guys that the "RF with bench" and the "Popular with bench" are the exact same thing except the RF with bench comes with the "premium stereo". Everything else is the same, except price of course. My dealer tried to add both of these packages together and bill me for both till I corrected him when making a trial/initial order.

On the 4x4 vs the "off-road" package. You guys tell me it's seperate things. The dealer said when you say, "SE CC 4x4" you get the "off road package" stuff included. Is he wrong there too?

On the Nissan web site I tried to add the "off road package" to a SE CC 4x4 with RF/bench seat, and it said I would have to change my drivetrain option to 4x2.
if you don't get the off-road package, what is it you don't get? Skid plates, Ranch shocks, etc....? He also said you automatically get fog lights when you say "4x4" on the CC SE.
Sorry for the ignorance, just wanna be clear on what I order.

Thanks for all the indepth info. I don't do alot of serious off road stuff just alittle playing in the sand, trail riding and beach stuff. Heres pics of the extent of my off roading extreme-ness (tounge in cheek). 4x4 about once or twice every month or so, sometimes more when I can hook up with old high school buddies

I have the RF in the Fronty and the GF does not in the Xterra. But the controls are the same and the head unit looks the same too. I just got more thump with CDs. Radio sounds the same though, unless I really crank it and fiddle with the bass alot.

Thats why you guys here are very important to future Titan owners, and current ones as well. Information is power, however seemingly unimportant it might be to outsiders.
I will give the sales guy this though (know him personally, which means nothing most of the time when it's his job), he is one of those guys at the big desk, not the floor walker. He might not deal with this part of the game too much, I think people below him handle this stuff. But he still should know his stuff. I checked with him 1st because I knew him, coached his kid. But he is obviously not gonna do me any favors. So I will be sure not to jump on the 1st offer I get.
