$5 gas and a Titan

Thought this was an interesting picture - not only of gas hitting 5 bucks in DC, but also with a Titan driving by at the same time - is that poetic or what? :huh:

Yeah, pretty hard to believe. A Titan passing by a gas station? With the mileage we get, we don't have the opportunity to pass by many of them.

28 gallons, but when I filled up it was always around 24-25. I like the big reserve we have.

I just put $79 in this morning. Crazyness on TV, that new show " FUEL" sucks!

I put $35 in yesterday ($4.22) and I hope it lasts me till next weekend!!!

It costs me $100 to fill up, and I get to do that at least once if not twice a week...can't complain getting 11mpg lifted but [email protected] 11mpg just sucks...

I fill up once every two weeks. If I do fill up each week its because I travel 200 miles round trip to my east office one day a week. At .55$ a mile my tank gets filled for free

My last fill up was a couple weeks ago and it was $3.64 a gallon. I have the CC LWB so it holds 37 gallons and it was $126 and of course i had some still in the tank. Then when towing the TT I get 8.5 MPG. May not be doing a whole lot of camping this summer or at least camping close to home.

I work from home 3 days a week and then my office is only 8 miles from home for those other two days. I only fill up once a month unless I make the 170 mile round trip to visit family. Usually when I fill up it takes 21 gallons...I don't really push mine too close to E. Filled it up on Monday at $3.69 or so and it was $77.

I usually fill up every week. Psychologically, I couldn't handle $100+ fill ups every two weeks. Still holding below $4/gal in backwoods NY. But, it's getting painful.

nice picture..

I was getting 9mpg lifted and im getting 12+mpg now.

Im going to be putting new plugs in it tomorrow and i should net a little bit more. I was getting 16mpg before the lift and driving like a grandma so im hoping to get back to that.

Compared to what? Even in worse case scenario it's only 2/3mpg worse than any other full-size truck out there.
