I need to mount my 50inch light bar above my windshield, I dont want to drill into the roof.. whats my best option?

seriously though, I dont think there is another way other than drilling. You could probably make brackets out of metal and weld them that way if you ever wanted to take it off it would be easy to smooth out and re paint the roof.

I just had someone tell me windshield brackets are the way to go

But yeah, as far as I know the only way to mount is by drilling. Those "windshield brackets" you're referring to, and the the brackets mounted by drilling we're referencing, are more than likely one in the same.

I researched forever trying to figure out a way to mount it other than drilling. I even came across a post with someone trying to use rare earth magnets, but it didn't pan out. Like everyone is saying drilling is honestly the best way to go. As long as you take your time, and seal everything properly, you won't have any leaks or movement whatsoever!

I know what you mean though, standing on a ladder over my Titan with a 1/2"drill.....made me cringe. Lol
