Alright TT, ive tried searching the site and found a few things, but not the exact issue im having or a resolution.

So when my AC is on say the face or top vents, and i turn it on, it blows out the defrost.
then when i put it on deflost it hits my feet. etc etc.
The knob is on the correct setting and worked fin a few months back.

So what part do i need? the regulator or whatever its called by passenger floor?
of do i need the part thats under the hood by the fire wall?

Any help or sharing your experience would be great.

Thanks.

These AZ summers are hitting 106 today and its only going to get hotter. I NEED MY AC hah

Really? 60 views and not one reply?!?

I just had a similar issue when I changed my battery. It's more than likely the actuator that's located above the gas pedal. It controls where the air goes and it got stuck on mine where it would blow the air out of the wrong area. You have to go under there as you change your ac settings and watch and see if it moves.

I put my ac setting on max ac where it blows out of the front vents. This causes all the air to blow out of the front and nowhere else. If the little white actuator doesn't move all the way (I believe counter clockwise) then it's getting stuck in the wrong position. I used a flat head screw driver and forced it and ever since then it works on it's own now. Not sure if this is the reason yours isn't working but you can go under there and watch it as you change the controls. If it's not moving every time you change settings, then it's most likely getting stuck. Good luck!
