Is the RH knob on the defrost setting?

This just started within the last week.
When I start my truck the A/C is running and blowing cold air even though I haven't turned the A/C on.
Anyone know what may be going on?

im assuming its normal mine does the same (07 cc) it goes away when you turn off your truck then turn it back on

Is it on Max A/C? guy posted a thread a while ago about not being able to get the air to stop and his was on that setting.
I have the knob set to so it blows air out of the dash vents. It's not set at the defrost mode or Max A/C.
Sorry, but this is a common problem. I've seen a couple of threads about it. My AC runs when it wants to run. The only adjustment I have found that can make it stop is turning the key to off.
I tried a little experiment yesterday where I stopped the truck turned it off and re-started it. I did this 3 times and it was still blowing cold air.Nuke said:Sorry, but this is a common problem. This morning when I started the truck and went to work, the A/C wasn't blowing.
Weird.
