My 2006 Titan will switch from defrost and move to floor but not blow out the main vents. Is this the mode door motor going bad? Thanks for the help!!

We have a plastic vent actuator gear that gets worn out. Can you hear it click and do nothing or no sound at all when you try to switch it?

It does not click but sometimes will come out of defrost, make it to the floor setting then go back to defrost.
