I've been into car audio for awhile. Not so experienced when it comes to identifying what amps to choose with what subs and what not. Anyways I plan on have 2 kicker c12s in a sealed enclosure for my Nissan Titan. After doing my research and some guessing this is the amp I came up with that would handle these subs..so here's my list and correct me where you see fit.

2 kicker 12" 10C12-4

-

Peak Power: 300 Watts
RMS Power: 150 Watts
Impedance: Single 4 Ohm
Sensitivity: 88.3
Frequency Response: 27-500 Hz

Rockford Fosgate R500X1D Prime 1-Channel Class D Amplifier
300 Watts x 1 @ 4-Ohms, 500 Watts x 1 @ 2-Ohms, Frequency 20Hz to 250Hz +/-1dB
Sealed vehicle specific downfiring box

-
Dual 12" 04-12 Nissan Extended Cab (King Cab) & Crew Cab Sub Box
Mounting Depth: 5-3/4"
Air Space: 0.95 Cubic Feet Per Sub
Sealed Enclosure
Dimensions: Width 56-3/4" x Front Height 10" x Rear Height 6-1/4" x Depth 13-1/4"
I planned on wiring these 2ohm load

Like I said please correct me or he'll just give me some advice. Not looking to be the loudest truck on the block but I do love a little bump.

That'll give you some decent bump! I had a similar setup like yours but after I blew my JL's I ended up looking for a little bit more power since my amp can put out 600 watts bridged into a 4 Ohm load. Instead of SVC I went with Kicker DVC's.

40CWR124
12" CompR Series Car Subwoofer
Peak: 1000 watts
RMS: 500 watts
Impedance: Dual 4 ohms

So both subs can handle 1000 Watts RMS with my amp only pushing 600 rms which makes my amp not working hard as well as my subs.

For your setup it'll give it some good decent bump! For me I wanted it to sound like I'm at an EDM Festival 24/7 lol!

Oh, don't forget to put 1lb of polyfill in each chamber!

As long as you get an amp that doesn't exceed the RMS output of the subs at the correct Ohm you should be good. Just don't get an amp that pumps out 400W RMS when your subs can only handle 100W RMS. You'll end up with dead subs.

What you have is similar to mine. I have 2 Kicker 12's shoved in my KC in a box that is unfortunately too small for them. I have them on a Boss amp I think cause I was broke at the time. It doesn't rattle anyone next to me, but definitely shakes the mirrors when I have it cranked.

The kickers call for 1.25 cu ft per sub and the box only give .95 cu ft per sub. I had a big box in my red titan that took up alot of room in the back so I'm wanting the box to fit under the seat completely so I can keep my space in the back.

The box size probably isn't that big of a deal to make a huge difference

It'll trick the subs to thinking it's in a bigger box! Plus, it helps with any kind of resonance you may get

If you stuff the box full of that polyfil you might be able to trick the subs into thinking they've got the full 1.25 cubic feet. It makes the space more dense. A box that is too small, in the most basic of terms, means it won't hit as hard.

Also, if you wire the system at 2 ohms I think you're gonna blow your speakers. You'll be putting 250W through them when they only need 150W. I'm not 100% on that though, I usually just buy an amp that has the same number of outputs to make the math easy.

Peak power for those sub are 300w. It'll actually dang near perfect for the amp. The amp on a meter puts out 650w to 700w but since no amp is 100% efficient I'm guessing it will put out right at 600w. The subs wired at a 4ohm load would just have them at 150w each. 2 ohms = 300w each

you can save ALOT of money, you don't need 12's. I have two 10 inch Kicker CompR's in a sealed box under my seat with two kicker CX600.1 Amps, albeit there is a kicker amp that can power both subs, but at the time I didn't know that lol, and you can hear the bass from two blocks away, I wish you were closer to Jersey so I could come your way and show you. http://images.sonicelectronix.com/images/2589471/big/.jpg they only cost $99 now, when I got them they were $129.99. Best money I've ever spent on subs.

people think I have 2 12's I swear lol! These subs also have a selector switch for the impedance so you don't have to bridge them on the amp its done internally inside the subwoofer.

Running the same CompR's but in a 12"!

You're going to be running your subs at peak power with your amp at normal power. When the subs hit a heavier note it's going to trick the amp into thinking they need more power when you're already at peak.

Subs: 150W RMS, 300W Peak
Amp: 300 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (500 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms)

If you split the power between the two subs at 4 ohms you'll be perfect and it'll still draw more from the amp when needed for the peak hits. I learned all this when I had a system that would rattle doors in other cars and blew 2 subs before I figured out just dropping a 1200W amp in it and firing it up wouldn't work.

Not trying to tell you how to live your life, just trying to save you the cost of new subs.

Speaker size is null. It's about the harmony of the whole system you put together. I have two 8's that do 143db. And I've seen people using only one 8 that is the same as mine do 154db.

Hey I love learning new things so I don't take it the wrong way lol thanks for the information. What's your recommendation on amp and sub setup?

Thanks for the info. I'm a little more than 3 weeks from ordering everything so I'm trying to get it all figured out

im all about feeling bass in your chest and ive never said anything could be too loud lol, but 12's may be to much. my subs overpower the music on some songs and rattle the roof of the truck, luckily I installed a bass control knob. I have to do a write up but im having trouble uploading the pics.

I think what you've got is fine, you can make it work perfectly. Now it's just about wiring it together correctly to get the right results. You just want to try to match RMS power between subs and amp and then you'll have plenty of room for peak power hits without killing the subs.

Probably already know this, but when you get them set up you want to set your speaker volume really high (like around 80%) and then set your subs/gain. That way they'll sound normal at normal volume and won't distort at higher volumes.

Ah I see. I've been trying to do my reading on Crutchfield. So your saying instead of wiring it for 2ohms just keep it at 4? How do I wire 2 4ohm subs on a mono amp?? On Crutchfield it's only showing me wiring diagrams for 2ohm loads

Hmm, after looking around you may need to pick a different amp. Looks like the only way you can get a 4 ohm load out of the two 4 ohm subs on a mono amp is to have DVC subs.

If you scroll down to 2 subs on this page you can see the different diagrams. Subwoofer Wiring Diagrams | Sonic Electronix

I just have a 2 channel amp cause I'm lazy.
