I'm ordering xe mirror caps and handles and having them color matched

Are you gonna do the upper grille also?

no. The plastidip is only temporary really until i get the bumper wrapped in a high gloss black. I was tired of the chrome! Haha

Looks good. Keep it up. Are you going to color match the handles red. IMO, red would look good on the mirrors and black on the handles.

I'm definitely going to color match the mirrors but I'm debating on the handles. I'm leaning towards color matching them though. Who knows, I'll throw the xe handles on there before they get painted and see how it looks

Looks good. I have seen ppl from other forums use plasti dip as a base and use a custom color over it so when they don't want it anymore they could just peel it, but I don't know how well this works. I have been wanting to test on my left over front nissan emblem.

hmmm not sure how that would work. deffinitly let me know if you try it and if it works for you because that would be awsome!

I'll look up the "how to" later, but how easy is this? Just curious. I cant wait to get mine black too. Good job!

its really easy. just clean the surface, mask off around it a little bit, spray then peel off what you dont want on there after it dries. to do my bumper i took off the grille headlights and end caps
