Hey guys! Sorry if this has been posted about 9 million times before me. I've read a BUNCH of the muffler threads, and was hoping you could shed a little light for me.
Here's my situation :
2012 Titan Kingcab Pro4x
I am just not digging the stock sound. I understand that i can do a full swap, but after carefully examining my exhaust, it looks to be in pretty good shape, and honestly i'm only concerned with the sound at this point.
So, how difficult would it be to swap the muffler? I work at an auto shop (i'm an insurance agent though, don't know much about working on cars beyond basic stuff)
Can i get a muffler that will literally just swap in the place of the stock one? Does it need to be welded in? Are there certain brands that are easier to install than others?
I really like the sound of Super 44's and magnaflows, even dynomax sounds good. Bullet is a bit TOO loud for me, but i'm willing to hear any suggestions.
So, if i buy a new muffler, and have access to a lift (i do), can i swap it out without having to torch/weld anything? Whats the overall process like?
THANKS SO MUCH!
