Well the distributor called to let me know my new A.R.E. LS II hard tonneau had come in today. The factory applied Deepwater color was right on, and they had me back on the road in an hour (there were other trucks in line first). The 4 clips that hold it in are made to fit in the Titan utility track at the front and very back so you only lose about 1.5" of track at the very end and very front. I have both the bed extender and divider and both slide with no interference with the hard tonneau! I can remove it by loosening those same 4 clips. The matching paint rocks! I'll try to take photos later.

Anything yet? Can't wait to see.
I have bought 4 ARE caps over the years and have decided when I get the Titan no more caps for me. Not seeing out the back window has finally gotten to me...

Hello Quad T:

See the photos in the picture/media section. I'm good with the view out the back but that's also what the big mirrors are for! :jester:

Maybe height has some effect since you do raise the line of sight about 6" ?

How were the A.R.E caps as far as quality and durability?
I bought an A.R.E. lid in 1991 for my Ford f150. In 1996 I bought one for my Dodge Ram 1500. I just ordered one for my 2004 Titan :)
I never had a single problem with the 2 previous ones. The paint held up great on both even sitting in the Louisiana sun 6 days a week. After owning a lid since 91, I wouldn't think of driving a truck without one.
