A.R.E Truck cap for CC LWB

Paid $800 for my ARE LSII cover on my 04 CC installed. What are "Yakima towers and cross bars?" Shell vs. tonnoue (sp) I assume....

Yes, a shell. My wife likes the ones with the solid side panels + toolboxes. She thinks it's a great idea for when we're camping and need access to stuff from the truck.

A friend doesn't like the idea because he believes the interior or the shell will get too hot.

Rochester, NY. I did a search on ARE's website and contacted them. I told him want I wanted and explained that I haven't seen evidence that A.R.E. has a LWB cap yet and he said he'd contact them and find out. About 20 minutes later he called back and said they were available.

I think I will contact A.R.E. myself and verify this.

Well, this looks to be a bust. I called A.R.E. this AM to ask about a LWB truck cap and they said they are not available yet. Not sure what the local dealer was talking about - anyway, he wasn't my first choice. I was planning on using one of the local RV shops that I use to do work on my camper. They are also an ARE dealer.
