I know there have been many post on this subject but wanted to start a fresh one and keep this going.
I have a 2004 Titan that the blower fan for ac and heat intermittently works. One time I get in the truck it works and the next time it don?t. I have replaced the resistor which Is flat because my model does not have the 4 fin part. Put the new one in and it made no difference.

Can someone point me in the right direction of what I need to look at or replace next.
Thanks in advance.

Can't say for sure, but going back to the basics, it's one of three things - a bad resostor, a bad fan, or a short somewhere. Could be a bad switch, I suppose, but that just selects the resistor setting, so I doubt it. If it's the switch, it's a control board.

I suspect it's not the switch, but one of the other three items. Download the shop manual (nicoclub.com, i think) and follow the troubleshootong instructions and use a multimeter to check the current to and resistance through the resistor. The fan is an easy check - just put 12v to it and see if it fires up.

Yeah... Take it to an AC guy and have him put gauges on the system.

I bet the pressure on the low side is high due to moisture in the system.
The sensors will then shut off the system.
I would guess you have not had any AC issues up till now?
This sounds exactly what my problem was.
I read all the forum crap, and replaced a lot of good working parts with new ones. Then went to Nissan.
20 minutes and 50.00 later, I had ice cold air and did not have to add any refrigerant.
