Adding an AUX port

Sorry if this has been covered. I tried searching and couldn't find an answer. I currently am using an Ipod with an FM transmitter and I HATE it! I need another solution. I have a 2004 SE but with the cheapo base unit (no AUX port).

What are my options to ADD an Aux port to the exisiting stereo?
I see tons of posts on addind Ipod controls to the better head units but nothing about simply adding an AUX port to the cheapo stereo. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Well the first thing i did was buy a cheapo head unit for $99,(Sony explod)after ripping out the factory unit.It comes with a i-pod connection(glove box)usb port(face)and aux input-output on the face as well. It's not that expensive and it doubled the volume of my cheapo factory speakers. And i had it installed for FREE at CC.Maybe it's time for a Christmas gift to yourself

I was thinking about that but I am concerned what it will look like with the extra space below the new head unit. Is there a filler plate there? How does it look?
They sell these adapters which the stereo will go on the top part and there will be a storage slot on the bottom part. It will just look fine. OR maybe you can buy a Double Din.
