I'm about to add a set of submersible LED reverse lights to my boat trailer, and was wondering if anyone else had done this? Right now, my trailer has the standard 4 prong flat plug. I've ordered the 7 way round plug to match the one on my truck and I'll run the feed from the center pin of the plug to the power feed for the LED lights. This should allow the lights to come on when I put my T in reverse correct?

Am I missing anything?

Thanks in advance!!!

That's all you need to do. I'm going to be doing the same on my car trailer in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks bud.

I was pretty sire that was all it would take. I had a custom boat built, and I'm trying to make everything top notch. And the reverse lights on the trailer will sure make a nice addition when backing up at some of the launches we use!!
