I sold my 2007 Titan today for $13,600 with 99,790 miles. Over the past 10 years my Titan and I have been to a lot of places, even though we hit only 7 states. We did a few off-road adventures, did a lot of camping and hunting, made it to the dragstrip once and towed a few trailers. It was the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned and most of the issues are ones of my own making. It was rarely at the dealer for warranty work. I did most of my own maintenance and installed almost all of the modifications.

I closed the deal at 4 pm today and at 7 pm today I bought this:

You might be thinking that I need to turn in my man-card to step down from the Mighty Titan to a 2015 Nissan Leaf S. You would be wrong because what really replaced the Titan is this:

This is a 2017 Ford F-350 Superduty with the 6.7L Powerstroke diesel, 8' bed and 4x4. It doesn't ride as nice as the Titan but if I were to really put the hammer down it is rumored to be faster than the Titan. With 480 HP/925 TQ it is the ultimate towing beast. The Titan had to go because last year I bought a toy hauler (TT, not 5th wheel) that grosses at 11,000 lbs. Completely unloaded at just under 8,000 lbs I wasn't comfortable over 45 MPH with the Titan in front of that trailer. The Titan was never intended to be the tow vehicle for that trailer, I'm just saying that at the unloaded weight it was just too much trailer, not enough truck.

I've made a lot of connections here, met a few of you and certainly made some friends. I'm not leaving quite yet but I'll be slowing down here and ramping up over at the Ford-Trucks.com forum. I have no leftover Titan parts to give away. The Titan bed was completely full, right up to the roof of the topper with two sets of wheels/tires, four rear shocks, two sets of b-pipes, floor mats, etc. Even the back seat and front passenger seat had stuff in them. I hope the new owner, Vinze, has as much fun with that Titan as I did. I told him about this forum so hopefully he'll be here any time now.

I've followed you over past many years.

Congratulations on the purchase. Makes sense to make the switch with what are your newest needs. I'm sure you'll be a great addition to that network.

Hey Jim- beautiful truck and I like the Nissan Leaf as well! Bet there's a story on the EV; I know Nissan is selling the last of the 2017 models for big discounts. Hope you got a great price on yours. As for the F350, I hope you'll come back and give us your impressions from time-to-time on what you like (or don't) compared with your Titan.

Sorry to see you go HRTKD but totally understandable. I've followed you on the forums for quite some time now, another OG jumps ship. Best of luck with the new F350! We have several at work and I have no complaints about them. They've held up well for the last 24k. (they idle and are constantly on the road)
