ANOTHER THING. The worst a K&N has ever caused is gumming up the sensor and causing it to revert to factory preset and SES light to come on and that's usually due to over oiling the filter!!!
Your service dept is grasping at best to keep the blame off of them either not knowing what to do or trying stuff that didn't work, etc...

4 cats on 4 wheel drives gives one more "cleaning effect" before exhast hits the earth while offroading.
