A 22'' is most commonly going to be front bumper somewhere. A lot of people like to put them behind their grill along the bottom part of the bumper. As far as I know it's fairly straightforward: Find somewhere it fits, drill two holes, and bolt the lightbar down.
As far as wiring, connect to battery/ground, run cables through the firewall (near the emergency brake pedal), and set up your switch in the cab where you want it. It only has to be as neat as you want it to be...just make sure any wires that are in/near the engine compartment are secured and insulated.
