I just bought a used 2008 Titan Crew SE last Wednesday night. I drove it home and the cruise control worded great and for several days later. When I turned the cruise control on yesterday and to set it; it failed to do so. I turned the truck on and off thinking it would reset it but no. When I turn the cruise on the display flashes the words (SET) next the the words cruise. My manual tells me to take it to a Nissan dealer. Does anyone have any ideas why it quit working? Also does anyone know how to fix it? Thanks for any time.

Does your horn blow? On some trucks, not necessarily Titan specific, a broken clockspring will cause the cruise control to not function. If the horn fails to blow also, it is confirmation a broken clockspring is likely the culprit.
