I have tried the key trick and it turns it off but only for a short period of time. I was told that the wiring harness going to the seat belt was triggering it to come back on. Any ideas on this?

If you have an older model KC there is a recall to replace the harness that goes inside the back door to your seat belt. If you look at it you will probably see the wire loom is crushed. This happened to mine and I took the loom apart and taped the wires individually.

They (Nissan) told me it didn't involve my year model (04) and yet, the is a recall on it from almost 4 years ago. I told them about the recall and said they looked and my year wasn't listed?? If I knew of which wire it was in that harness, I could cut & splice it and not worry about their crap.

The light stays on then flashes 5 times and repeats itself. I took everything apart and I can't find anything damaged with the wiring.
