I have an ‘06 Titan Crew Cab LE. Recently the air and heat started blowing only on high speed regardless of what you set it to. So the only choice is off or high speed. Any ideas what the problem is and would it be an easy fix for a novice?

Sounds like the blower resistor. Relatively easy fix. Search the forum and you'll find more info and probably part numbers.

Yup. Almost guarantee it is the blower motor resistor. Have changed at least a dozen of these things on various cars & trucks throughout the years.

Yeah like the others are saying it's your VBC resistor right by where your blower fan is. Happened to me, Very easy to replace. Got mine from Nissan as there is a new updated version of that resistor. Here's the box with the Nissan part number

Thanks. I’m not close to a dealer so wanted to order the part off internet but keep finding two different part numbers.

Yeah I know why your talking about, ended up going to the dealer and they said that's the part number for the updated part. You'll notice the find are different as soon as you compare the old with the new.

Got the part from amazon in the photo. It did look slightly different as the old one had 5 fins and the new one had four. The new part was just overall a little less bulky too. But it installed fine and I now have my air/heat speeds back so I’m guessing it’s fine.

I am struggling to fix the blower speed, it runs high. I am learning there is a Variable Blower Control (VBC) which is the 3 or 5 fin device. Then there is also a blower resistor a single fin. I have replaced the VBC but that did not correct the problem. Now I am looking for the blower resistor and need help. Can someone share a photo where the resistor is located. Again, I am good on the VBC, just need some direction to pull the resistor.

This is a 2009 SE king cab with the blue/red temp control dial. Thanks for the help.
