I did this fix after two weeks of owning the T. It's been basically noise free for the past 3 years. This has been an issue since 04. Here's one member's fix:

Any hardware or home improvement store, Lowes or Home depot, should have it.I am going to have to give it a try...1/2 inch foam....Yep going to start the search for the stuff today...
Nissan has had this problem since 04 when I tried to get them to fix it with no success, that's why I came up with this solution. I'm not sure if the 2011 have the same design as the 04.I have the same problem with my 2011. In my mind a brand new vehicle shouldn't have this problem but when it does the dealership MUST fix it. I'm not at all entertaining the idea that I have to stick some foam into the door of a vehicle with less than 200 miles on it.
Sorry, I wasn't knocking you for finding a fix at all. I was just saying that I'll be a total jerk about it with the dealership if I have to.Nissan has had this problem since 04 when I tried to get them to fix it with no success, that's why I came up with this solution. Good luck dude...I can hear them saying we can't duplicate the issue, or that is not covered under warranty.I have the same problem with my 2011.
