Airbag Light flashing

So, before everyone crucifies me, I've read all the posts about re-setting the light and the thread on reading the codes. But, neither has been able to solve my problem. This includes all the threads on the other sites as well. I did an oil change, then out of no where, the airbag light started flashing (Don't know if they're related, but it's the only thing that was done before this started). I've performed the reset at least 10 times, and only lasts (stays cleared) a few minutes before the flashing starts again. I'm really trying to avoid paying the $135 at the dealership, but if push comes to shove, I'll bite the bullet. I've tried "reading" the code and all that happens is: light stays on 3 sec, shuts off for 2 sec. That's it. It just keeps cycling through this. Any ideas?

Two years ago, the SRS light began flashing on my armada and the reset procedure would eliminate the light. But as soon as I turned the steering wheel close to full lock, either left or right, the SRS light would come back on. My armada didn't have the typical signs of a failed/failing clockspring (i.e. steering wheel audio & cruise controls not functioning) and the SRS light wasn't throwing any particular codes.

I purchased a new clockspring, Nissan part #25567-CD025 and problem solved. Just check with your local Nissan parts dept, parts.nissanusa, etc. to confirm the actual clockspring for your Titan.

I followed the instructions from this thread on how to remove the steering wheel:http://www.titantalk.com/forums/tit...187-adding-steering-wheel-audio-controls.html

And this video, regarding the removal of the clockspring:

Thanks man! This looks like a PITA!! But if this is what it takes...so be it. I appreciate the response back!
Curious if anyone else has thoughts or input on this?
