... since ive driven my titan. on july 19th an elderly woman driving a buick roadmaster went flying through my parking lot at work and proceeded to cross the entranceway with out looking or slowing down. just as i was leaving she ran out in front of me and i hit her. she turned my truck sideways in the road way. she got out of her totaled buick and some yelling between us insued as i called the police. my tow hooks actually pierced her door so when i backed off of her it ripped the door in 2 pieces. she told our nurse that she wasnt speeding but only doing 30. the parking lot POSTED speed limit is 10, 15 on the entranceway. she didnt even belong there, she was picking someone up and obviously cant read because its posted where visitors belong and where employees park. and i park wayyyy down the other side of the parking lot. i had gotten maybe 20ft out of my spot into the entranceway and WAM, there she was. so now my truck has been at the body shop since then and hopefully i'll get it back by friday... no pics of her car but i got some of my truck. the worst thing was that i just paid $478 for that bumper 6 days earlier to fix the damage from the deer i hit in may :flame: they gave me a 07 silverado for a rental. its not bad but i miss my truck soooo much... :crying:

Some people just shouldn't be driving. Hope you get your truck back soon.
I have near misses with elderly folks daily.... only a matter of time. Just yesterday, an old couple came to a complete stop at a green light because the turn lane next to them had a red. WTF?
Sorry about your truck!!

Why in the world is it taking them a month to fix? I did alot more damage to my front end when I hit I deer, it only took the shop about a week to fix it!!

we both have tthe same insurance co, so they have been dragging it out and they have been waiting for parts. they got the last of them in yesterday, and i was told it should be done by the end of the week.

Gotta watch for those blue hairs.......
At least the blue hairs have insurance.

2 weeks before I moved an illegal unlicensed uninsured smacked me when he ran an intersection and I was without my truck for 3 months.

4 weeks to repair and 2 months to arrange a transport out of state since we had to move before the repair was completed.

So Jeff, I feel your pain.
Sorry to hear about the trouble, man! Hope you get it back this week.

I'm with you there - An illegal pulled out in front of me and totalled my last truck...
Kinda makes you wish for a big winch bumper and bigger tow hooks!

reminds me of a wreck I had years ago - driving a 91 civic and hit a guy coming out of a Taco Bell and failed to give me right of way (was cited for it). I attempted to file on their insurance (they gave me a card showing the car was insured so they were covered when the cops looked at it) but come to find out the husband was not auth to drive on that policy and they would not cover the costs of damage to my car - anyway I'm kinda certain the guy was an illegal anyway...I hate to generalize and judge by their looks, but this guy was decked out as I like to call it 'a hispanic gigilo' - the kicker of it all was that when I went to claim on my insurance due to their lack of being authorized when driving the car, they had tried to file a claim against MY insurance - was a good laugh for me and the insurance agent - I have USAA and you just don't mess with them when its not their users fault.....anyway they tried to claim their money back but never got it....

almost had a wreck yesterday with an older couple driving their Town Car on the interstate - they were doin no joke 55 when traffic normally runs 70-80 and they couldn't understand WHY semis were on their bumper....LOL
