I'll have to say. I'm the only one that has driven this truck from a day to day basis. My dad would take it out probably 3 times a year for a trip to Home Depot but thats it. I witness the odometer roll over from 15 miles, all the way to 40K. All my friends said my truck would fall apart since its new and the reliability is questionable. The truck has currently 39232 miles on the read out. Here are the major failures: radiator leak....thats it. No brake judder, no diff blow out, no mechanical failures, nothing. This truck is solid. Besides the regular maintenance, this truck is the easiest to take care of. Nissan did a good job for a first truck. With all these motors companies coming out with their new 1/2's, the TITAN is still a par thats hard to beat. Just throwing in my two cents.

i totally agree with you that Nissan did a great job with the titan being their first full size truck! i haven't had any major problems other then getting the brakes replaced at about 3,500 miles or so. i don't have as many miles on my truck like you (close to 8,500) but i can see it never giving me any problems.

You still have many more miles to enjoy this awesome truck....Enjoy !!!!
As a new Titan owner it is comforting to hear praise for the truck as well as the negativity that is often vented here. My confidence in my purchase just jumped a little. Thanks.
almost 108k on my 04' SE and 7k on the 07'SE nooooo problem baby!!
Over 25K on my '06 LE. Loving every minute of it with NO problems at all! Keep on rolling!
Coming up on 25k on my '06 LE as well. So far I've had the radiator reservoir replaced (TSB), the cam bolts done (TSB), door recall done, and that's about it. Solid truck. I'm as happy with it as I've been with the first Nissan truck I bought back in '83 and I put over 115k on that one. And for the record, that truck is still running for the guy who bought it from me. It's a ranch truck now. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Here's to many more trouble free miles for all of us!
The guys at Autoweek magazine printed some things regarding the excellence of this truck. I saw it in the mag yesterday.
Almost 40K on my 04 as well and no problems to report. The brakes were done at 17K and had a few TSB's performed but that's it.

One thing I notice is quite a few of the people who post doom and gloom with their trucks have modified them. As soon as I see that, I discount whatever problems they're having. Too many variables get introduced with the modifications and who knows what the root cause is then. Just my opinion.
42K on mine & I had the brake judder fixed at about 4K. That's it! no mechanical problems at all! Lovin' the Titan. '05 CC LE Red Alert.
04 CC 4x4 LE, 46K, had the brake judder at 20 something and the tranny coolant line at about the same time. Still have the original goodyears on it, it sees mostly just pavement as a daily commuter (50 miles) and the odd weekend load. It has been really an awesome vehicle, no regrets what so ever!

Well thats really good to know. Heres some more good news for you. Ford just recalled almost 3.7million of their cars because a faulty starter mechanism that would burst into flames...even after the car has been turned off. 1 person has died from this problem already.....cause a Ford truck exploded on her.....something thats unexceptable. You'd think that Ford would of seen the problem over...since they are the first automaker.....****.
