If you hit both the lock and unlock keys, it toggles between horn on and horn off.... You may have done this.

It's in the owner's manual.... :readclose

I think if you press and hold the lock and unlock button down simultaneously it will set the truck so the horn blips when you lock the doors.

And if you have your horn set to honk when you lock it up, you can still sneak in covertly without waking SWMBO. Just get out, close your doors and hit unlock. It'll automatically relock (as long as the doors aren't opened) without the horn in a minute or so. :eyebrow:

nice!! I never thought about that - just open the door and hit power lock switch, it will stay locked when you close the door. :redblob"

seemed like he thought that's when the horn would honk indicating the alarm was set.
For example --> On my wifes Acura TL you push the lock button once to lock the doors and twice to set the alarm, after the second push if all is secure - it gives a confirmation "beep" (not the horn though). If anything is open or not fully latched - then you don't get the confirmation beep.

everybody knows about the windows :hi: too bad they don't roll back up with the fob:bangit:

When I had my Air horns hooked up to the horn it was a BAD thing when I locked up .... LOL but it was great fun if you could see your truck from a distance and someone walked in front ...

Does anyone know how to turn the "windows down" off on the key pad? I know to press lock and unlock for the horn. I am tired of accidently hitting the button in my pocket and coming outside in the rain to see the windows down! It is a cool feature but I have had to take my keypad off because of it!

Sorry Danny, I don't know how to stop it but I might suggest buying looser jeans...:bump:
