Just signed the deal on a 2007 Titan LE CC w/OR package, Majestic Blue. The dealer had some chrome 20" customs on it but I wasn't crazy about them so I'm shopping. I REALLY like the classic look of the American Racing Torq Thrust STs but wonder how they'll look on my Titan.

I searched but only found one thread without a conclusion as to if the Torqs were purch'd and put on the guy's truck.

I'd go with chrome 20s, I think. I can't even find a site online that will show me what they MAY look like. Anyone seen any of these wheels on a Titan? They're all over the net on Hot Rods...

And for tread, I'm eyeballing the Cooper Zeon LTZs, Nitto Terra Grappler ATs and for maybe a budget angle the Road Hugger XRT (yup, from Discount Tire).

thanks!

I found the wheel on your site but I can't find a way to price them... :( me not so snart!

edit: i found them but i had to say that my vehicle was a Tahoe (selected that because i was once shopping for them for my Tahoe). couldn't find chrome, however and the grey wheels say they're on backorder.

hahaha, its all good. you have to pull it up under your vehicle, or else it wont know the proper, size, center bore, offset and bolt pattern. on our site, pull up the year make and model of the truck, the search wheels, there you will get your prices!

let me know if you have questions

That's exactly what I'm saying. I can find the wheel under Brands. But when I select the vehicle (Nissan, 2007, Titan Crew Cab, LE) I get taken here: www(dot)tirerack(dot)com/wheels/results.jsp?autoMake=Nissan&autoModel=Titan+Crew+Cab&autoYear=2007&autoModClar=LE (sorry about butchering the URL, I haven't yet made 15 posts... :p)

Which is exactly where I get taken if from the front page if I select the vehicle as above. So... is this rim NOT available for the Titan? I've seen it a few other places that it is...

ahhh, exellent point. i looked into it, and this is the problem. ARV made it for your vehicle in a 20x8.5, but closed it out in that size late 06. They are going to make the same size in an anthricite version...same bolt pattern, offset of an 18 for 221$ each.

I can't get 'the better half' to sign off on the darker colored wheels, so I don't know if I'll be getting the anthracite. :( I do rather like them in that color, however.

Those look great, I'm really thinking about getting a set. How much did the wheels & tires set you back?

They look good, but I think the ones on your truck are also pretty nice. Just depends on how you want to spend your mod budget.

$1899 mounted, balanced, shipped with lugs. that's about $500+ less than everything i was pricing out local through Big O, Discount, and Les Schwab. I couldn't get what I wanted through TireRack, as mentioned earlier in this thread and I just tried again, still can't. If you like the "anthracite" color, you tell TR's site that you want them for a Chevy 6-lug as they are the same pattern... but I can't get their site to show me 305/50R20s in a tire like what I got (while I have the Nitto, I've been told they're the same as a Toyo--Toyo actually makes the Nitto?).

Anyway, not to 'dis' on TireRack but I just couldn't get what I wanted from them via their web site so I turned to eBay, had some discussion with that seller, and am VERY happy. I do need to get me some locking lugs and I will have to get my TPMS installed at my expense. So there are some obvious trade-offs.

thanks man. i really like the stock 18's if i could just find the actual chrome ones. they go so quick on here and are usually in texas or cali (i'm in IL). and to buy the oem chromes on ebay (without trading in my silver wheels) is about $800-900. so for that much, i figured i might just step up to some nice aftermarkets. we'll see what happens.

specialb, thanks for all the info. i think if i get them, i'll probably end up getting them through that ebay seller. i've heard a lot of good things about the Kumho AT KL78 tires as well, and my brother has a set of those in 16's on his pathfinder. i guess they've redesigned them (different than the pics on tirerack.com), and they look more aggressive. thanks again!!

you could look into having your stock 18s blasted/chrome plated... i like the 18s better than the 17s that my off-road came with too.

i think i may have liked the 18s in the american racing rims that i got and i know they're supposed to be available in an 18. don't get me wrong, the 20s look sweet! but i think a little ride quality is sacrificed with less sidewall--but it could be the tire i got too.

yeah, i checked and around here they want like $200 a wheel to plate them. which puts me in the same boat as buying them on ebay.

i can't find those american racings in an 18 anywhere either. i would really like them in an 18. i think the 20's look nice, but tires are even more expensive for them than the 18's. and, like you said the ride quality probably goes down a bit too.

i think i was finding the tire pricing was a wash for 18s or 20s. try pricing something on www.discounttire.com as a reference. 20s are so popular they seem to have come down in price.
