Ummm...spending more money on additional filters is about all I see you will get from it. Unless you really have a hard time reaching the existing oil filter and operate your truck commercially or in severely dusty conditions I don't see a benefit. I'd just cross reference your existing oil filter and find one that is a bit larger that will fit in place of the OEM filter.
I run synthetics and do oil analysis but I cannot comment on this. The UAO's on Titans I have seen are excellant from a wear metal standpoint, say, compared to the domestic gas trucks though they seem to chew up the active additives (if your familiar with TBN). It has been postulated that the chain driven DOHC are responsible for this.
Personally, I can buy a lot of oil for the cost of a bypass system, but it's your investment. To be fair, 3K OCI's are probably 10-15 years (or more) behind the times. The quick lube places like them though.
If your not familiar with this site I would recomend checking out the Oil Forums here. These guys are all over this stuff (bypass filtration systems).
Do any of these black brake rotors from EBC, HAWK, etc... Actually remain black or do they all rub/erode away? I want black brake rotors, but I don't want it to look just like any other rotor after a few months
Got 2018 Nissan Titan Sl and bought some train horns and a light bar I wanted to know if there was an access port where I can feed the cables into the cab without drilling and I don’t see a plug if possible picture diagram will be much appreciated thanks in advance
2nd post, picking up my first Titan Tues. Rebuilt 2014 SV 4x4 Crew Cab w leather. 36k miles. Super excited; been searching a long time and I don't think I could have found a better truck for the price. Everything on the truck is stock and in good shape. I've done a lot of research...
Does anyone have the AFE catted headers on a '08+ Titan yet? I know everyone promotes the Cajun Stage 1 package as best for the money but i'm curious how the AFE's might perform on a '08+ with AEM Brute Force?
