Alright, Here we go.
This is my first post, though, i have read a whole ton of them on this site.
So I bought my 08 nissan Titan Crew Cab for what i thought would be a decent price... Here's the skinny,
When the truck is cold, starts like a dream. When it has been driven around a bit, then sat for about an hour, it will crank but no start.

I have replaced:
Fuel Pump
Cam Sensors
Crank sensor, twice
Fixed dash wiring
Replaced Radiator
Replaced TP sensor
Brand New Interstate Battery
Found and tried several different IPDMs
Sent Computer off and came back clean(however it did have a software failure the guy reset.)
Changed out valve body(due to dealership saying transmission is bad, although it shifts and drives like a dream?)
Changed downstream 02 sensors.

The truck has started a slight backfire at times when it is doing its no start thing.
I think the cluster may be malfunctioning due to the rpms slightly on the fritz.
The Dealer claimed it needed a new transmission.
They found:
TP sensor code(i have tried the learn procedure)
Catalytic Codes
And a U1000 Can Com code

I was told it could possibly be the timing chain kit needing replaced?
Anyone got any idea's?
Thanks!

Welcome and I would start here.

I just read you have replaced the IPDM a few times. I'm sure someone will chime in that knows more about these truck. No SES or codes you said. I don't believe it's timing chains as it only has a issue when it's heat soaked.

Have you checked the positive terminal distribution block? There are some connectors on there that can get corroded and you would never see it. try disconnecting the connectors on the bottom and clean them out with some contact cleaning spray, let it dry, and add some dielectric grease to seal them up. the part is pretty cheap to replace also if it looks pretty bad.

Has an all around grounding test/inspection been done. Like a wiring harness or grounding cable? Like chasing a ghost - that is one incredible list of replacement parts.
I took it to the dealer some time ago and i think they did a multi inspection. Not sure if they tested grounds specifically. However, i have tried to trace down grounds and tighten/check them...
At 33000 miles, according to carfax, they replaced the fuel pump. The fuel pump has been changed several times before me.
This truck has really done a number on me.
It is still spitting the crank code P0335 i believe. I have changed crank sensor a couple times now.
The wireing in the truck a bit of a mess when i bought it. But they hid it from me.
Some of the wires at the OBD2 port were melted and behind the cluster had some wire messed up and fallen out of the connector.
This truck is like the dudliest dud i could find.

I will definitely take a look at that and give it a shot.
