Just got a white 05 crewcab with 115K on it. Had my mechanic check it out yesterday and its all good so dropped the rest of the check off at the dealer this morning. I love this truck so far!

First question. My truck didn't come with the remote key thing. Whats it cost to get one? And found out last night there is an alarm, any details on that? I gotta get a manual.

Welcome to the forums! Glad everything checked out at the mechanics - you'll love the truck. You can buy the key fobs online - but they will have to be programmed at the dealer. IIRC - somewhere around $250 for the programming.

Hey wilder!

The key fobs DO NOT have to be programmed at the dealership. Just find a cheap one online like on amazon(where I bought 2 for my Titan) and do a google or YouTube search on programming. I got two done in 5 mins once I figured it out.

If you have the chipped key itself then that's another story...either a locksmith/Walmart/autozone or the dealer for that...id go to a locksmith personally.
