Ok, so I use to have the Cooper Discoverer STT tires on my Armada and absolutely loved them. They were a beast of a tire. I think they were 305's. Well I want these tires again. Looks like they now make the Discoverer ST MAXX, but doesn't look like they make a size that will fit my truck. I have a 2011 Pro-4X wih a 1.5" leveling kit up front and 1.5" blocks in the rear from PRG. I want to go a tad bigger, but not kill my gas mileage. I know from experience that these things weigh a ton. I have the stock wheels.
The sizes they show are the following:
275/70 - 33.39"
295/70 - 34.25"
305/70 - 35.08"
275/65 - 32.2" - smaller than stock
285/65 - 32.8" - slightly smaller than stock
265/60 - obviously no
305/60 - 32.64" obviously no as smaller than stock too
So I'm wanting to go a little wider than what I have, even a tad taller to fill the wheel gap I now have. What do you guys suggest? I don't have the funds right now to go a few inches taller for a lift, although it's on the agenda in a couple years. Would the 295/70 clear with no issues? I would imagine the 305/70's would have some major rub. I'm sure the 285/65 would be an easy fit, but like I said, I want to go a tad taller and I REALLY love the Discoverer S/T MAXX. The outer treadwall just looks sick.
Unfortunately, the normal Discoverer S/T (not the MAXX) only comes in two sizes on 18" rims. 275/70 (33.31") and 275/65 (32.28") [smaller than factory]

I have to get my tires from Discount Tire, because that's who I have my credit card through. They only offer two tires for my truck in plus sizes. Nitto Terra Grappler and BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2, which I'm not a fan of. I had the Terra Grapplers and everyone and their dog has them. I also want something a tad more aggressive then the Terra's and the KO2 along with something that will take care of business here in Oklahoma and the Discoverer S/T / S/T MAXX I know will do the job as I absolutely loved the S/T's on my Armada. Never got stuck. They are just beast. Gas mileage just sucked, because as I said, they are heavy SOB's.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
