Couple of diff ways. What are you looking to achieve? Nice quality install to replace the entire center, or just a "BOX" to house a scanner and some stuff?
Any Ideas On A Center Console
Im thinking on building my own to house a scanner, cb and some switches. Any one have any idea or suggestions? The only thing I can't seem to figure out is how to attach it, so it doecn't move on turns.

I dont know really I dont need it to go all the way to the front. I think i just want it to go half way. I plan on doing it in MDF and then wraping in in carpet. I have some good carpentry skills but was just looking for some ideas. If i knew how to firberglass that would be a different story.
glassin is easier than you fear. You really need to decide how much of a console and what all it will house. You have a CC or a KC? Bench or buckets? Full size CB? CB sized Scanner? How many switches? etc...
