I hope the falkens I got will last. I will be swapping off the new wheels for the old ones for winter. The firestone destinations barely lasted 15,000 miles. I am on the wear bars. PA roads use Superpave which has more agrregate and less oil. I think that doubles the wear life on our tires. When I hear people get 30,000 miles, I almost cry because people never get that here!

I will post a pic when I put them on.

I just got these things. look great. tires are really wide. How about acceration.? did you end up slower with a 305 45- series? I would assume YES, because of more contact rubber to the road. But the handling will be better around corners even with the leveling in front.

Gotta fix my struts due to the shop not installing the Rubbers in the struts causing me to redo the whole setup. so the wheels are not on yet.

Mine handle pretty good for such a big tire! Grip is awesome! They will probably slow you down a little though... :)

What part didn't they install?

I have 26s on mine so 22s will fit perfect with 40s.

ugh this is killing me, Im on the bubble between 305/45/22's or going with some meatier tires and going with 20s and 33's...
The 305/45/22's are great because you get the great styling of the 22", plus you get a little bit extra of a sidewall with the 45 series tires. IMO, 40 series tires are scary on a truck. Just not enough rubber between the rim & the road!

My rim/tire combo is almost exactly the same height as the OEM setup, so it worked out great for my T.

Agreed. I wanted a meatier tire so I went with the 45 series tire. They are almost the same hight as the oem tires
