Well anybody...?

If so where did you get the wire for the aux jack in the Titan? I just got an IPOD and am planing on using it in my Titan.

Thanks in advance

I'm using the 20 GB version and we absolutely love it. The Apple store and computer resellers don't cary the cable so you will need to go to Radio Shack and get a male mini RCA-to-mini RCA cable. They sell them in 1,3 & 6 ft lengths in black and white for $2-$5 if I remeber correctly.

You're going to love your iPod.

I use an ipod connected through the jack on the radio. All the music seems only half as loud as FM. I have read about this problem before, so I ordered an itrip to try that.
That's normal though. Use the volume control on the iPod to amplify the sound while increasing the volume on the car stereo...the Aux input sounds a hell of a lot better than the cassette adapter or iTrip that I use in our '03 4Runner.

I plan on pick up one of these for the titan. Its a mount that has a adjustable arm that fits in and charges the unit from the outlet under the aux.The unit is in a perfect postion to be right under the aux jack and can be turned to the driver. It can be used to send the music through fm radio or a hard line to the titan aux jack. There is also a cup holder version you can buy from apple but i didnt want to take up a cup holder.

The arm doesnt stick out of bottom it is just a adjustable arm connected at back.
That second one from the right looks pretty cool...do you know where that one can be purchased?

I highly recommend the Monster Cable car cord (for Gen 3 iPods). This unit is fused to prevent overcharging & electrical spikes, plus it has a true line-out. All you need is a stereo mini-mini plug cable to plug into the Titan. The volume is controlled by the Titan's volume control when using line-out. Do not go out of the headphone jack on the iPod, the quality is very poor.
bbghog, I haven't seen the new Monster Cable car cord but I'm assuming it's a charger. Just so I understand you correctly, you can play audio through the line out of the charger via mini-to-mini cable to the AUX plug on the Titan. Is the quality really better this way versus the headphone as I think the later is damn good?

You can buy it from apple themselves, the kit is built by belkin so they to offer it on their site. I have found good prices on apple ipod accessorie websites as well as ebay.

Thanks Tikigod, I just caught your post for some reason. I like the flexability of this device.

Once you use the line out, you will wonder why you ever used the headphone jack.
I may just have to give it a try then...thanks for the link. I haven't looked at iPod accessories for a long time and didn't realize that Monster now made a charger as well.

bbqhog, I checked out my Belkin charger today and noticed it has a line out adapter on it...don't know why I never tried it but I did today and you were right, it does sound better.
