I have a bowl in my house that has something called a vortex.

Now for the serious answer. Don't touch it! It may aid in power, as the general idea is the same as a Throttle Body Spacer (TBS). But they are a solid piece of aluminum with a coarse thread machined in them to twirl the air and aid in midrange power. Check out the PowerAid TBS, it is popular and well respected. The Tornado is overpriced for what it is, and being thin metal, could easily fatique and break apart. It would then get sucked into your engine for that final display of its usefullness! Don't put such an item on any vehicle.

An 80 Pinto SS? I need one of those, it's got to get better fuel economy than my Titan!

Yes, any commercial showing an 85 yr old lady with blue hair saying she installed it herself in 5 minutes stay away from. Pepboys HP is different from real world HP

I think Popular Mechanics did a test on this and similar devices recently, and it actually made the fuel mileage get worse. It is a joke. Besides that, I wouldn't want to put that flimsy piece of sheet metal anywhere near the intake tract.
