What are you looking to do? The only real difference between the Pro4x and other models is the shocks and struts. Not enough of a difference for stuff that works on other models to work on them. Let me know what your looking to do (budget too) and I can give you some advice

ok so assuming both the RC 3" leveling kit and the comparable one from PRG, I'm leaning towards PRG kit as it's more complete. Am i thinking on the right path? I really don't care about the significant price difference btw

Gregs products are better quality for sure, especially if your going with upper control arms.
Email and call him the guy is hard to get ahold of sometimes but it's worth it when you do

Yep, PRG kit ill work, you can do DirtKing UCA's (either bushing ones or hiemed ones) and an ebay billet spacer, along with some Bilstien shocks too. Lots of different combos' you can try. I am surpried PRG doesn't offer the kit with his UCA's instead of the RC ones. I am running everything in this kit (PRG Products) except I have the DK bushing UCA's which are about $525. You can get all those parts separately, and then pick the UCA's you want if you want to get better quality arms.

So I'm gonna order the PRG 3.5 lift which comes with most components that I need. TWO QUESTIONS:
1. what else do need to completely finish the lift front and rear? I'm assuming rear shocks, block for the rear suspension....
2. what is the biggest and widest tire I can fit on my stock rim?

I'd ask him how much extra for his arms. I know the rough country will work the PRG are just so much nicer/beefier

Not a Pro4X, but a '15 SV 4X4 and a '12 SV 4X4 prior to that. It's all the same stuff. And to piggy back off the guys above, I would have totally went with the PRG complete setup if mine didn't have a dealer installed pro comp 6" on it.

What is the best recommendation for going a little bit wider? Nothing crazy, maybe 1" or so wider all the way around. Is a spacer the way to go?

I don't think there is a 1", but I could be wrong. Yea a spacer if your not wanting to buy rims.

Good to know, someone was saying just the other day on here or the Facebook group that they didn't have 1".

I always wonder why someone adds lift to create travel on a 4x4, but then adds the biggest tire possible, which completely reduces the amount of travel you have just created by adding the lift.
