Anyone run Yellow Stuff pads?

Ill try to keep this short. I purchased EBC Green Stuff pads off EBAY. Was sent Yellow Stuff SUV pads instead. Should I use them or send them back? I think returning them is going to be a MAJOR PITA. EBCs website says these are not low dust pads. not sure of thats something I want to deal with.

I am not familiar with the EBC pads, but looking at their website it appears it goes black, green, yellow & red. With black being closest to OEM and red being high performance. Looks like the green has 3 different models, the 7000 being their low dust version. The yellow has 2 models and sounds like they shipped you the SUV version.

Here is a "glimpse" at the green 7000 & yellow SUV pads side by side (taken from their website):

FYI, according to Summit's website, the green pads cost $106 vs $138 for the yellow. Not sure what you paid for eBay, but yellows seem to be better and more expensive. I'd probably install the yellows, but if you were dead set on the greens, return and get what you wanted. I believe the eBay seller tried to give you a free upgrade, but should have communicated if he didn't have the green pads you wanted before shipping them.

Thier brake pads, and you paid way to much for them already. Put them on the truck and be done with it.
Well yes sir, Mr. Titan14. Why don't you manage all his finances while you're at it? Damn.
Im not interested in manageing his finances. I dont mind giving my opinion on how much one should pay for brake pads however. Sorry that seems to bother you. Dont take it personally.
Your opinion on what he paid for the pads after he bought them is not warranted nor cared for. He asked if anyone has experience with them. Not whether he got hosed or not. Stick to the subject.
I was trying to be helpful, although I dont suppose it came across that way to some. A lot of people over-pay for brake pads, and it would appear by starting this thread hes not real confident about his brake pad decisions. Although I do believe he can do with my advice as he wishes without your input?

The same can be said for yours. And not just in this thread.

That doesnt make sense.

Im not policing others comments, like you are. why dont you mind your own business?

You go first.

It's rather ironic that you're telling others to do exactly what you seem to be incapable of.
Wow, you too huh. :bangit:

Im not going down this road. if you dont like my contributions, I suggest you dont read them. Enough said

You add no contributions. You add cynicism.
return them to pepboys for a credit and get what you want.
Titansauraus,
Ive tried finding yellowstuff on summit but all i'm finding is greenstuff. I found the 3GD sport rotors that I wanna get, and would like to go with yellowstuff but I cant find them on summit. If you have a link or any info where I can get the yellowstuffs (preferably on summit) that would be awesome. Thanks in advance
I won a set, but haven't installed them yet...I will post a report when I see how they do! If you use them, please tell us your opinion...
Why are you set on Summit? DiscountTireDirect (our site sponsor) has them.
the rotors are cheaper on summit and i get everything from there so I usually get free stuff

also i just ordered a set of 265 60 18 nittos:eyebrow: from their ebay store and paypal automatically comes up on my dads credit card (dont worry i pay for it) and if he sees another big purchase he's not gonna be happy so summit i can throw it on my credit card
discount's ebay store that is..
