I have a 2008 Nissan Titan SE 5.6L V8. I was wondering if anyone here could help me with the gap for the spark plugs (Autolite/double platinum/finewire) gap. I’ve read it’s .044 but that’s for NGK. Would it be different for Autolite? Also some help with how much torque would be appreciated.
Im also replacing the passenger side valve cover due to oil leaking into the spark plug tube, would anyone be able to help me with how much torque would be required for the bolts holding them down? As well as if J-B weld ultimate black gasket maker and sealant would work for the corners of the valve cover. It’s temperature resistant up to 500 degrees that should work right?
Again thank you, this is my first post and would really appreciate the help.

Just make sure you get either the new valve cover and gaskets and a good seal. Made the mistake on first spark plug change and gaskets off just a little and leaked all over. Had to pull out all over replace with new valve cover/cgaskets and clean up the big mess. Lesson learned don’t skimp get it done right first time.
