Here is a challenge for you guys. I've spotted a bargain on an instrument cluster (same year as mine, 2006) for sale that may or may not work. My LE does NOT have the ATF guage, though I read a thread that says it is actually behind the plastic minus an indicator needle.

I wonder if I can swap the guage cluster but NOT change the mileage. This is important that I do it right, because my truck only has 35,000 miles on it.

Does anyone know if the mileage is stored someplace other than the panel?
If it is stored in the panel, would it be possible to swap the odometer for the original?
Does anyone know if I can take the complete ATF guage out of the cluster and add to mine?

Yup, plug and play. There was a guy on EBAY selling new clusters set to the mileage you requested in PR and they were NEW. Got one of them and it is perfect and even came in a Nissan Box.
