I just did the flashlight test on my mirror and it works like it's supposed to but when I drive with the rear window down I get blinded by headlights and it doesn't adjust.

Does anybody else have this problem? Does anybody know why this is? The truck is completely stock, not lifted and not leveled.

I have not noticed this myself, but I do drive a lot in the dark (up before the crack of dawn, don't come home until the sun sets). I will have to check it out. Maybe it is due to the tinted windows making the dimming effect appear greater?? Meaning it still dims, you just don't notice it as much.
