I was wondering if there is a way to mount a Pioneer Avic D3 in a 08 Titan. Will the D3 fit where the OEM nav screen goes? Is there something solid it could be mounted to? I'm thinking you could mount the D3 there and use the OEM for radio and use the D3 for Navigation. I'm wondering this because I might buy an 08 Titan and I already have a D3 I'd like to install in the Titan. I wish someone would make a wood grained dash kit to go with the LE trim.

I believe where the OEM Nav is located is too small for the D3 to be installed. The D3 is a full double din stereo and from what I've seen from the little Nav hump in the console, there just won't be enough room.

I say just wait until an aftermarket double din kit is released for the 08s. I'm in the exact same boat as you and have been dying to install a Nav and sound system in my 08.

On the 08 the radio has changed. The A/C-heating controller is intergrated into the head unit. You will have to wait for someone to make a bypass kit of some kind. Metra is supposedly working on something, when it will be available I don't know.
