ok first off are high flow cats stillen b pipes or can you add them for performance (dont need to pass emissions) should i run headers stillen b pipe and the my exhaust or do i want cats inside for power

sorry for ignorance im guessing no on cats?

The Stillen B-Pipes have high flow cats installed in them because when you add long tube headers you remove the primary cat that is welded to the stock manifolds. The 07 and up Titans, have 4 cats from the factory, 2 on the manifold and 2 in the B-Pipes. The older Titans, 04-06 2wd have 2 on the manifolds, 4wd have 4 like the 07-up.

so do i need to replace all 4? or just the 2 past the headers?

You only need 2. If your 4wd you have 4 cats for some odd reason. If your 2wd you have to cats closest to the manifolds, and the rear 2 are already empty. I have no idea why thier there, kinda a resenator. Im not running cats right now but will eventually. I dont think theres much to be gained with or without, but its super loud without

Some members that are not installing headers have gutted the second set of cats in the B-Pipes, or they replaced them with resonators or exhaust pipe. I would not mess with the front cats, you need to remove the manifolds, cut the stock cats off and weld on the new cats and reinstall the manifolds. For a shop to do that will cost you around $600 + parts, that is what some members have paid to have headers installed.

well i want to run nismo headers and stillen b pipes would i get more power by doing that or gutting the cats im guessing running stillen

I just ordered the Nismo headers from the dealer and they are being put on my 4x4 this week. I also just read a few threads tonight and realized that they are going to cause a light on my 4x4. If the '07 is just like a 04-06 4x4 does that mean if I install the Nismo headers and stillen b pipes I will not cause a light?

Did that make sense? Seems just the headers will cause the light. But the B-pipe fixes that for the 07 so will it fix it for my 04 4x4?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, the Stillen B-Pipes will stop the SES light from coming on. On the 4X4 models one set of 02 bungs are to close to the transfer case and the 02 sensor will rub. Stillen is trying to fix this miner problem now.

i only have two cats lol

Crap I just ordered the Stillen B-pipes on friday so I can put my 2nd O2 sensors in the rear bungs to get rid of the check engine light. How do you know the O2 will rub. Do you have them. Is this verified to where I should call stillen and tell them to hold off?

Ok I called Stillen and Margaret Lo assisted me. She was aware of the issue and made it clear to me that it is only on the newer models. 08 & 08.5. She said that it will not rub on my 04 model 4x4.

I would also like to mention the incredible service I got from Margaret. I have bought over $100k worth of car parts over the past 10 years and I have never had someone answer their phone everytime I call and have an answer or get stuff done. Margaret was able to all of this to include pulling my shipment off the truck, changing my shipping address and getting back on the truck to go out the same day. I lived in socal and would always pickup my parts from stillen for my crx and supra and most there were rude. Margaret will keep my doing business there.

thats good to hear. It can be a $10 p/h employee that makes or breaks a companies reputation for a customer. i had some issues a while back and then went down there to pick up my longtubes. They where super cool and apologized for the inconvienence and even offered to give me a full tour of their shop and what they had going on.

Got my b-pipes in today. They looked great. Let's go bolt them up.

Problem #1
the o2 sensor rubs the transfer case the exact way it does in the previous pic

Problem #2
I had the SES light reset by the dealer and all looked good. about 30 miles into the night out wala ses again. I am going to have the code pulled int eh morning to find out if it is only one side and if maybe I messed up an o2 or something

The major issue I have here is the o2 rubs.

The sound. Well has anyone ever been to the monster truck show. I now drive the show. At idle the sound is right around stock. At half throttle it is deafening and at full throttle I feel I should be charging people on the sidewalk to watch. I am not complaining but this truck is no longer incognito.

ok another dumb question... i have and 2wd 07 so from what i have seen here i only have two cats correct? if thats the case should i get some b pipes or just remove the resos if thats what they are and run just pipe in place of them or get the b pipes im looking for more power... by the way i have jba headers also with dynatech cats welded to them.. thanks for any awnsers....mike...

I reset my codes and no problem now in 1k miles but my O2 on my '04 4x4 rubs just like the one in the picture above. I have a body lift on my truck so it was easy for me to reach up over the transmission and cut the wire tie holding the O2 wires and I did not have to lengthen the wires at all. If you do not have a body lift it might be a little harder.
