Check out www.nissanusa.com and on thier website has new for 2005 vehicles. The link shows interior and exterior for both 2005 frontier and pathfinder built on the titan frame. Frontier looks cool but a slightly smaller and alot less features then the titan. The pathfinder moved alittle to much toward the armada. There is shadows for 2 other future vehicles one of which is probably the updated xterra also on the titan frame, the other i dunno ya got me. Any ideas?

The nissan rep told me all new frontiers and pathfinder where going to be built on a modifyed version of the titan frame. He could be wrong but it made sense to improve size, strength, and cost with the new plant. Any thoughts?

2005 Nissan Frontier Overview

The larger, more powerful 2005 Nissan Frontier pickup, which is offered in both King Cab and Crew Cab body configurations, has more than a passing resemblance to the recently introduced Nissan Titan full-size pickup. Along with its modern, rugged styling, the all-new Frontier – which goes on sale at Nissan dealers nationwide in winter 2004 – shares a number of significant features with Titan, including its rugged suspension design, innovative spray-in bedliner, Utili-track™ bed channel tie-down system and fully boxed, all-steel frame based on the Titan platform.

The 2005 Frontier shares its suspension layout and many component designs with Titan, including an all-steel double-wishbone front suspension and rigid leaf rear suspension with overslung leaf springs and a long suspension stroke for optimized off-road ride. Frontier also offers standard power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering and 4-wheel disc brakes with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS).

The 4.0-liter V6 design includes Continuous Valve Timing Control (C-VTC), Nissan variable Induction Control System (NICS), silent timing chain, microfinished camshaft and crankshaft surfaces, molybdenum-coated pistons, resin intake manifold, digital knock control system, cross flow engine coolant pattern, high capacity muffler, lightweight aluminum block and platinum-tipped spark plugs. The Frontier V6 will be assembled at Nissan's advanced engine production facility in Decherd, Tenn.
