I've got an appointment in the morning to get my "Custom Bank's Exhaust" started. I'm switching out the stock Bank's 3" Y for a Flowmaster 2.25"-3" Y i bought @ Jeg's. This is "phase1" later on i plan on adding some custom 2.25" B-Pipe's w/ Hi-Flow's in them.

The 1st. place i stopped @ was Rainbow Muffler in Largo. WARNING! DO NOT GO THERE! I walked into the office & explained to the guy what i wanted & he came out to look under my truck & he said, "Why do you want to switch it to a smaller Y-pipe, the one you got will flow better." I told him that my tuner explained to me i was losing some low end torque due to the 3" Bank's Y. So, we go back in the office & he start's adding up #'s in his head & tell's me it's going to cost $280.00 for crush bent pipe & he was going to re-use my flanges! I almost laughed in his face, but kept my composer. Then i asked him if i bought all mandrel bend's on the web & brought it in to weld up, how much it would cost & he said, "$180!" His reason for the high price was, "because there's a lot of weld's to do." ....Seriously! Isn't this an exhaust shop? Isn't that what you do for a living, welding? LOL

Anyway, i remembered that the guy who owned the body shop that did work on my T told me he would hook me up w/ his exhaust guy. So, i went down there & talked to the owner & he said he'd do it for $80. So, i'll try to remember to get some pic's while i'm there. I've been wanting to get this done for a long time, just didn't know of & trust worthy shop's. So, hopefully everything go's smoothly & i can come back later & get "phase2" done @ the same place. Hopefully it gives me a little boost of low end & a little better #'s on the dyno this weekend. :)

Yea, i know. LOL That's the only exhaust shop in Largo, that i know of though. That's why i went there 1st. I know someone that brought his Bronco w/ a 351 Windsor there & got dual's put on it. I have a lot more faith in the other shop i took it to. The guy that owns the body shop get's all this muscle car's exhaust work done there.

I just got back from Performance Muffler & i'm very happy w/ the way it came out! My exhaust sound's WAY better now! Before w/ the 3" Y it had a "muddy" sound to it, but now it sound's crisp & clean. The drone decreased a little too. From what i can tell so far it definitely has more low end! There's police out everywhere today setting speed trap's, so i'm going to take it easy & not get a ticket. I can't wait to get out on the interstate & give her a romp! :)

People w/ the Bank's Monster Exhaust, i would highly recommend this mod!!!
If any of you are interested in getting some exhaust work done i highly recommend them. Their located in Pinellas Park, across the street from Parkside Mall.

Here's a couple pic's. I burnt the crap out of my arm, got too close to one of the resonator's. I'm going to be going back to get my B-Pipes done when i get some Hi-Flow cat's. Also, strange thing, i had a po420 cat code on the way there, then after they finished, i started my truck & it went away by itself.

I think I'm going to get some 2.25 b pipes and run it to my 2.25 to 3 inch Y collector very soon. I'm wanting to get rid of the crappy stock 1.75"-2" pipes and the big azz open cans where the rear cats were. I'm going with crush bent just because of money, but it will be better than whats on there for sure. I'm hoping for another .1 from this:)

Let me know how much you gain from all of that. Looks good man!

Thank's guy's!

looks nice should definatly help a ton.. get rid of those reso's and install some highflow cats in custom b-pipe and you will pick up probably another 10hp and 2-3mph in trap speed.
It definitely helped! Can't believe it took me this long to finally get it done! I should have had them just run he pipe straight to the header flanges, but yea B-Pipes are going to be 2.25" w/ hi-flow's.

Looks awesome! I bet you did get some torque back! I want 2.25 straight b-pipes, but i have to get headers again first lol
Definitely got some torque back! Smoothed out the exhaust note too. I' love the sound of it now! The guy's were telling me how loud me truck was when i pulled out of the lot the day before. One of the older guy's was like, i don't know what your hearing inside the cab, but out here that thing is LOUD! So, when i was leaving this time i got on it & broke the tires loose. Everyone out side on that street's head's whipped around & was trying to find out what what was driving by. LOL This was the 1st. time i've broken the tires loose w/ these Spec-X's, their sticky as hell! I just had to do a full throttle punch! LOL

Yep! With Hi-Flow's & custom B-Pipe's you can pick up an extra 10-15HP & higher trap speed's in the 1/4 mile.

i already have 2.5 magnaflow cats just piecing my system together as money allows what do u think do 2.25 pipes even though i got the bigger cats probably would be have more torque from the smaller pipe im guessing and could just put the cats farther down the system before the muffler. Also plan on getting the dt long tubes and i see they come off at 2.5 still 2.25 is the best?

You don't want to put the cats far down in the exhaust system because the OEM o2 sensor wires aren't very long, and oyu need to have the 02 sensors behind the cats. 2.25 B-pipes is as bis as you should go for a bolt-on/NA Titan
