So I have a 2004 Titan and the thing runs beautifully. I don't post on here much but I wanted to share this with you guys because I think it's pretty useful.

I have the Leer Tonneau cover for it, which is great because I put clothes and what not in the back and take it up north and I don't have to worry about it getting wet.

The problem with that is it does a great job at also blocking out the light. When trying to get things out of it at night, you always need a flashlight because the cargo light doesn't light it up.

So as a fix, I bought some light strips on amazon and mounted it to the bed of the truck. Then I hooked up a switch, led controller, and arduino to it and made them fade on really nicely whenever you open up the cap.

Check out the video! Tell me what you think! (Don't comment about the **** in the back though, I already know I gotta clean that up!)

Most of the parts are from amazon. Here is the list that I used. You can just hook it straight up to the switch but I put an arduino so I can make a timeout so I don't waste the battery and I can make it very nicely fade on

Not trying to hijack your thread but I found some round LED lights on overstock (10 for 15.00) They are push in grommet style lights. Ran the wires to the factory bed lights that are built in the tail lights, have two lights on each side. They fit in the pre existing holes that are in the side of the bed. Come on when the cargo light is on or doors open. Sorry for the bad pic.

How about some "Everbrights", LOL. Solar powered and bright as heck for the bed. Would not help with a bed cover. Could put them on the roof and simulate the Titan Warrior concept pics.
