I'm thinking about bedlining my front bumper. Right now I have the middle upper and middle lower grille painted flat black but the paint is starting to chip. I was thinking about either getting it all powder coated smoke, repainting the flat black parts with bed liner or repainting the flat black parts with bedliner along with the bumper endcaps. What do you guys think?

So far my rims are bedlined, rear bumper and soon to be wiper cowl.

Well man, I think you should go with powdercoating because it will have a much smoother finish than bedliner while still having a flat/no shine finish. I have a black 4x4 cc BT and the front bumper center section, rear bumper, wheels, and toolbox are all powdercoated dark grey along with a dark grey front grille instead of chrome, everything else on the truck has been spray on bedliner'd i.e. mirror caps, burgers, rear titan emblem. I like it and like how the powdercoating has held up. I think it would be a better choice for the front because with the rubberized feel and texture of the bedliner, i think getting the front clean of bug and guts would be a chore. I also pm'ed you about the banks muffler.

Bedline it...I just did the whole front bumper and it looks bada$$ fo' real. It matches the rear and the T being galaxy black, it looks sick!!! I dont have pics yet but ill post it when i get them...as far as washing, ill just use a nozzle and brush. Shouldnt be that hard.

yeah the rustoleum bedliner isnt that bubbly, it looks pretty smooth unless you get up close to it. I'm more curious about adding the bumper endcaps with it as well. Post pics up of yours if you get a chance amtitan, I'd love to see how it turned out.

A lot of guys like it, but other then trim peices and what have not, I keep the bedliner in the bed.

That might be an option as well cause the main reason why I want to do this is to protect the from from rock chips. My only concern is the texture, how bubbly or textured is it? Like I mentioned before the rustoleum isn't that textured unless you get up close. I'd like it to match everything else I have bedlined as close as possible.

here is a link of the rear bumper I just did.
